With over 20 years of knowledge and experience of the benefits of the arts, Jerry has a wealth of insight into social inclusion programmes and its profound impact on communities and the individuals living in them.
The creative arts can provide the space for reflection and give voice to the stories that lay within our diverse range of communities.

Art Thou Ok Bab? lays within Musical Theatre, Commercial, Street and Hip Hop dance/movement practice and currently provides outreach services to a diverse range of ages and communities.

Inspired by the challenges and questions we face within our community. Art Thou Ok Bab? Is committed to facilitate arts and dance programs that promote, better understanding, inclusion, providing & creating opportunities that give voices for the unrepresented & underserved communities to express themselves through dance/movement, art, theatre in and around Brum.

About J Lee
​
An experienced producer, performer, dancer, choreographer and director, Birmingham-based Jerry was classically trained in Modern, Ballet and Tap Dance @Thecentrepac London and has over 20 years of experience in the discipline of dance, art creating, theatre and movement practice, nationally and internationally.
He realised his passion for dance and choreography in his teenage years when finding his path, trying to understand himself and coming to terms with his sexuality.
Currently delivering his wealth of experience in producing and delivering meaningful outreach to community groups, with a focus point of his art and creation. Jerry has managed multiple creative and performing arts programmes / workshops / exhibitions and events for a wide range of diverse community groups.
Jerry was also founder and director of two successful community dance groups: J Lee School of Dance 05 and Urban Future Crew.
